In the pursuit of sharing the landscape and other “visual stories”, it still amazes me to be able to paint in oils and have them so well received by many friends, old and new.
As a fourth generation Montanan, living here under the Big Sky offers many an adventure and abundant subject matter for painting. I like to travel out of state as well, whenever i can for a change of scene.
It is still exciting for me to get up and paint most days, and that is due to the fact that I have had enormous help and encouragement along the way.
Along with my wife’s great help in working as a fellow artist (Her medium is recycled wool!- check it OUT! at https://samaralynde.wordpress.com/ ) and work at the Rocky Mountain Development Council, together we are raising two GREAT kids in Townsend, MT.
Your paintings are so lovely. I would have them on every wall in my home if I could. What a gift you have.
Thanks so much. We all have a lot more to learn, especially me! As broken as this world is, the gifts that others have and share with me, make it truly wonderful.
